Program Description:
As hands-on instruction becomes essential in information literacy initiatives, library professionals must plan spaces that support their instructional programs and nurture students through responsive design decisions. We shall consider how to locate, design, and equip functional, flexible, and comfortable electronic classrooms. Through guided discussion you will discover which questions to ask for a plan that insures success. You will leave with a set of guidelines for managing projects of this type.

What spaces in your experience are right for library instruction?
How do we propose a project of the right magnitude?
What happens if the architect doesn't listen to us?
