WINDPOWER Golf Open

Suzlon and AWEA are proud to partner and bring you the eighth annual WINDPOWER Golf Open on Sunday, June 3rd at the Coyote Hills Golf Club located about 45 minutes from the Los Angeles Convention Center. Adding to our new tradition, Suzlon and AWEA will allocate proceeds from the registration fees to a very worthy cause - a charitable fund that provides scholarships for students, educators and others seeking to attend AWEA educational events. Not only will golfers network with the industry's top leaders and executives, they will do it while contributing positively to the industry's future.

We hope you will join us for a great day of fun while helping build a scholarship program that will provide opportunities in wind energy education for current and future generations.

The WINDPOWER Golf Open will be held at the Coyote Hills Golf Club. Designed by Cal Olsen and PGA Tour Legend Payne Stewart, the course is located in the foothills of Orange County. This all-inclusive event features access to industry leaders, a challenging game of golf, great food, keepsake golf shirt, and of course, transportation, greens fees, and golf cart. There will be a "shot gun" start with play held in a scramble format. Golfers will play on a four-person team that will use the best ball for the following stroke.

This year group golf lessons will also be offered. The lesson will take place at the same time as the tournament, so it would be perfect for someone interested in improving their game or even a novice. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form if you are interested.

Due to high demand, the number of participants is limited to two persons per company. Every year the event requires a waiting list, so please fax in your registration forms now to the number listed below! Then, immediately mail your registration form and check (credit card payment not accepted) directly to Suzlon.

Tournament Fees

The non-refundable payment per participant is $185, which includes transportation, lunch, tournament fees, and the official 2007 WINDPOWER Golf Open shirt. Golf club rental will be an additional $65. The tournament also offers prizes to the best performing golfers, as well as a few special awards!

Please make REGISTRATION checks payable to SUZLON WIND ENERGY CORPORATION. Suzlon cannot accept payment by credit card. A receipt for payment is available at your request.

Preliminary Event Program

6:00 am   Meet at the convention center to sign-in, retrieve shirt, golf bag label and information
                 packet; boxed breakfast, coffee and tea provided
6:30 am   Bus departs promptly from LA Convention Center
7:00 am   Arrive at Coyote Hills; announce teams and driving range practice
7:45 am   Shot gun start
1:30 pm   Lunch served
2:30 pm   Awards presented
3:00 pm   Bus leaves Coyote Hills Golf Club
4:00 pm   Bus arrives back at convention center
