This year the conference hotel will be the John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort on Interstate 80 in Sparks, NV.  It is conveniently located minutes away from the downtown Reno area and is about 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe.  It is also minutes from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport

Please make your reservations with John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino by calling (800) 648-1177. To ensure lodging in the conference hotel, reservations should be made by June 13, 2008. Mention the GED Administrators' Conference to be eligible for the special rate of $100.00 per night (plus $5 resort fee and taxes).

The John Ascuaga's Nugget Hotel in Sparks, NV has a shuttle bus that will take you from the Reno, NV airport directly to the hotel. The shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes, and can be located outside of door D in baggage claim at the Reno Airport. The shuttle runs from 4:30am until midnight every day.

Special Airline Discounts

Special discounts of up to 15 percent are available for meeting attendees who fly American Airlines and its affiliates.

Travelers can receive a 5 percent discount off the lowest applicable fare or 10 percent off the unrestricted coach fare. An additional 5 percent discount is available if reservations are made at least 60 days in advance. For the airfare discount, you or your travel agent must CALL the airline.
