The National Genealogical Society, together with the Virginia Genealogical Society, Fairfax Genealogical Society, and the Genealogical Research Institute of Virginia (GRIVA) is pleased to extend this invitation to interested societies, organizations and businesses to secure space in the Exhibit Hall at the 2007 NGS Conference in the States and Family History Fair, 16-19 May 2007.
We have changed the name of our conference this year to give more emphasis to our exhibitors. This year's conference will be called the NGS Conference in the States and Family History Fair. We hope that this new title will draw more attention to exhibitors and bring more members of the public into the Greater Richmond Convention Center to attend the Family History Fair exhibits.
Conference Facilities
The 2007 NGS Conference and Family History Fair will be held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Exhibits will be in Exhibit Hall B21abc at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, on level two. Exhibit space will be limited, so please make your booth reservations as early as possible.

Exhibiting Costs
The cost for a 10x10 basic booth is $260. Genealogical and historical societies receive a special rate of $200. This charge includes booth rental for the entire conference - booths come with one 8' x 30 skirted table, 2 chairs, 7" x 44" ID sign and a wastebasket. Each exhibiting company also gets one complimentary conference registration. If you are a genealogical society, to ensure the correct pricing structure is used, please indicate this when requested to do so in the appropriate field during the registration process.
Additional charges other than the NGS booth costs that you may have to consider are electricity, Internet and telephone connections - if you require these for your booth, Internet/telephone is ordered through the Greater Richmond Convention Center via this link: http://www.richmondcenter.com/main/Telecommunications.asp. Electricity is also ordered through the Convention Center - via this link: http://www.richmondcenter.com/main/Utilities.asp, Furniture for your booth -(additional tables, chairs, etc) is ordered through the Valley Expo Exhibitor Kit at: Valley_Expo_Exhibitor_Kit_2007.pdf. Please note that the exhibit hall is already carpeted.
How to Apply for Exhibit Space
Select your booth(s) by viewing the Exhibit Hall map under Exhibit Booth Locator in the left margin menu bar, and then completing the booth reservation. process. Booth selections shown on the map will be assigned on a "first come, first-served" basis upon receipt of the contract and payment in full.
