2007 marks the 400th Anniversary of the founding of America with the English colony at Jamestown, Virginia!

The Jamestown Society - This society aims to discover and record the names of all living descendants of the early settlers and to unite those descendants to honor the memory of their settler ancestors.  This website has a wonderful historical summary of the settling of Jamestown.  The Jamestown Society will be organizing many special events in connection with the anniversary - check the website for details.
